Inspire me Monday . Documentaries about Photography

Hello Creative Folks, how was your weekend ??

Mine was a combination of two of my favourite things, a second hand market and watching movies.

This is where I think cold weather really pays off, when you can just hide comfortably under a blanket while enjoying a good movie, don’t you agree?

So today I would like to share with you guys a big list of documentaries I found a few weeks ago that can help keep you company on these cold cold days ahead of us.

Put together by photography enthusiast Wirjo Hardjiono, the list entitled “The Big Fat List of Documentaries About Photography” features a lot of movies about photography/ photographers like “Henri Cartier-Bresson: The Impassioned Eye“, Waste Land, or one of my personal favourites Helmut Newton: Frames from the Edge but also some other documentaries about design, art, film, cinematography or the fashion industry like the famous The September Issue .

See the list by clicking here.

I’ve been making my way through it, some are just short videos that you can easily find on youtube while others require you to by them but they are usually worth the investment.

And here is the trailer of one of the documentaries on the list that I really, really, really want to see, Artists and Alchemists:
